Like the Bible, my Initial response to the Guide was intimidating as it is beautifully bounded and structured. I just wanted to put it out for display. However, once I began to follow the plans & suggestions, Its usefulness became apparent. I love the categories & tabs…..definitely a great reference tool; highly recommend.

I received my package in the mail today! Packaging is stellar and I love the post-it notes (I'm definitely a post-it note kinda of gal). I am so excited to dive in to this and share this resource with my counterparts who are also looking to start and grow their business. I can't imagine how I have been getting along this far without such an amazing organizational tool. Highly recommend.

I had owned my own company for 25 years. In that time, I have been hit with almost every form of book, system, advisor, counselor, coach, or consultant there is… Flourish in Growth is brilliant!
I wish I had this when I first started my business, you could have saved me a few years.

1. I love the attention to detail in its package. We tell people to dress for the position you want; this feels very similar. There is a reverence to the materials that matches the book’s purpose.
2. Despite the way we teach it, business planning is not a linear process. This makes it easy to jot a note or drop a post-it on another section (love the tabs).
3. They exercises are on point.
4. Bravo on the ‘write or draw’ take on filling out the work (I am a white board junkie).
5. I think that if someone puts the time into diligently completing the assignments they can gain a very clear picture of their potential success… which is the whole point.

First, I feel I should acknowledge that when I came across this book while on LinkedIn, I wasn’t sure if it would be a good fit as it seemed to be marketed to women entrepreneurs, however I know Cherith by working with her while doing some research at the small business center at Wake Tech. Cherith was very helpful to me then and so I felt her book would help me as well. I started my business a year and a half ago with little to no planning, only a “window of opportunity” and although I am bootstrapping this as a “side gig” because I still have a full time job, I know that in order for me grow and push beyond the “owning a job” stage, I need a business plan. I am confident this book will provide the guidance and motivation to complete my business plan. Cherith did a wonderful job on this book, from the impressive packaging to the robust construction and quality of the materials and the thoughtful design. I just recently received the book and I am just starting this journey, however I am excited to get started.
I highly recommend getting this book if your serious about growing your business.
